Manager Paul Trollope makes three changes to his starting lineup for the game against Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park this afternoon.

Goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen, who played in the second half of the Danish U-21's draw with Lithuania yesterday, was unable to get a connecting flight back to the UK, so his place goes to Mike Green who will be making his league debut for Rovers.

Carl Regan returns to the side at right back, a move that sees Byron Anthony move to the heart of defence where he will partner Danny Coles in place of James Tunnicliffe, who drops to the bench.

In midfield, Wayne Brown's ankle injury rules him out and so Dominic Blizzard returns to the side.

Loan striker John Akinde, with the benefit of a full week of training behind him, takes his place on the bench although the manager as indicated that he will play some part in this afternoon's proceedings.

Rovers, beaten 4-0 at home by Southampton last Saturday, go into the game looking for their first away win of the season and their first since 20th March when they beat Yeovil Town 3-0 at Huish Park.

Former Rovers player Joe Jacobson is on the bench for Oldham today, the first time he has been included in a first team squad this season and he will be buoyed that he scored against a Manchester United reserve side that included Rio Ferdinand and Wes Brown in midweek.
