ROVERS HELP BLACKHORSE PRIMARY
On Wednesday 28th April, Bristol Rovers Community Department paid a visit to Blackhorse Primary School in Downend to support their football themed fundraising day for CLIC Sargent.
'Kick for Children with Cancer' is a national sponsored football event, raising money for CLIC Sargent, the children's cancer charity.

The children at Blackhorse took part in a sponsored penalty shoot out against the Rovers coaches and players throughout the day. Many goals were scored and the experience is one the children won't forget.

Many thanks to all those involved! The staff, children and players had a great day!
The event raised a grand total of over £960, which is a fantastic achievement and all for a great cause!
Thanks to Jo Kuffour, Mike Green, Alex Hoyle and George Booth who came along to support the day by signing autographs for the children.
