A TRIBUTE TO RON CRAIG

The Community Department was saddened to learn of the death of Ron Craig this week.

As well as being Chairman of Bristol Rovers FC, Ron was also a vital member of the Board of Trustees as Chairman of Bristol Rovers Football in the Community.

In his role as Chairman, Ron oversaw the development of the Community Department from the very beginning in 1991 for 18 years, and was a cornerstone offering advice and expertise whenever it was required.

Ron would have been very proud to have been able to know that this week of all weeks the Community Department attained their Silver status from the Football League Trust for the work they do in the community; and we would like to dedicate this award to Ron Craig, in his memory, for his generous support over the last 18 years.
