SHOOTOUT AT OLDBURY COURT
Two Fridays ago our community scheme held a sponsored penalty shootout at Oldbury Court Primary School in Downend.
We have been working with the Year 5 and 6 pupils at the school for a couple of months now, and as part of the school's Sports Week children were invited to raise money to fire four penalties each on our Community Coach John, with the proceeds being split 50/50 between us and the school.

The children each had four chances to score with the winning pupil from each Year representing their Year in the grand final at the school. It was a great, sunny day and all the children had a great time as you can see from the photos at the bottom of the page.
Every child that raised money earned a voucher for a free ticket for a Rovers league match.
Brody was the overall winner of the penalty shootout after eventually defeating Liam, Kacey, Maison, Joseph, Mitch and Dan in the final and is pictured below with his trophy.

Lucy put in a wonderful effort and managed to raise over £100, so she has won tickets for her family to a Rovers league match as well as a brand new signed first team football.
