FANS NEEDED TO PITCH IN AGAIN

Posted on: Wed 01 Jul 2009

Groundsman Pete Prior has issued a new plea for fans to help keep the Memorial Stadium pitch in top condition throughout the season.

Last year Pete issued a plea for people to help him before and after games and got a great response from fans. He is now looking for people to help again during 2009/10.

Pete is looking for help from supporters who would be willing to give up their half-times and around an hour of their time after the final whistle to help work on the playing surface.

He also needs a few fans to assist him on the morning of a game.

Every volunteer will be thanked for their time and effort with burger, chips and a drink pre-match and a free ticket to the next home game.

Anyone willing and able to help Pete out over 2008/09 should contact the club on 0117 9096648 during office hours to register their interest and availability.
