Former Rovers captain Peter made 234 league appearances, scoring three times during his 13 year association with the club from schoolboy to apprentice to professional. The utility man was a member of the 1973/74 squad that won promotion to Division Two, and went on to enjoy a long & successful career at the club, before leaving in 1980.
