Paul Trollope says things are at long last "looking up" for Rovers on the injury front.

The first team coach welcomed Steve Elliott back to training at the start of last week, and now has Danny Coles and Joe Jacobson back in action as well.

Sean Rigg is also set to resume work on Tuesday morning, and Paul says he hopes it marks the end of a frustrating time at the club.

"Danny Coles came back to training on Thursday, but Friday was a little bit too soon for him," Paul told bristolrovers.co.uk.

"Joe Jacobson joined in today, and Sean Rigg is expected back with us tomorrow. Combined with Steve Elliott returning last week having been out for so long, it's a real boost for us.

"Steve will benefit from another week of training as well, so on the injury front it's definitely beginning to look up for us.

"David Pipe is still probably a couple of weeks away, but other than that the squad is getting back to pretty much full strength."
