CONCENTRATE ON THE LEAGUE - LINES
Chris Lines says Rovers must use their lack of cup involvement going forward to benefit their league campaign.
The Pirates are now out of all three cup competitions, with only League One left to play for.
Scunthorpe United visit the Memorial Stadium on Friday night, and Chris knows the importance of a positive result.
"We can fully concentrate on the league now," Chris told bristolrovers.co.uk, "We need to try and get up towards the play-offs and make something of the season.
"It's a massive game for us on Friday, Scunthorpe are up near the top, and now we're out of the cup competitions the league is all we've got to play for.
"If we can get three points it proves we're capable of competing with the best sides in the league, and if we can string a few wins together then all of a sudden we're right up there ourselves.
"There's a lot at stake, and it's a match the boys are all looking forward to. We've done ok in home games and in evening games, so we'll go into it confident and there's no reason why we can't come away with the three points."
