ROVERS SUPPORT NEW KICK IT OUT CAMPAIGN
Bristol Rovers have announced Joe Jacobson and Steve Elliott as their ambassadors for Kick It Out's 'One Game, One Community' week of action initiative.
The club is pledging its commitment to equality and inclusion at Saturday's game against Southend United.
The fixture is one of 1,000 events that will be taking place to mark the campaign across a 12-day period.
All 92 professional clubs, as well as Blue Square Premier and non-league clubs, will hold activities to support the initiative - alongside scores of schools, universities, community and youth centres.
Lord Herman Ouseley, founder of the equality and inclusion campaign, said: "We are delighted with the appointment of Joe and Steve as club ambassadors for the weeks of action.
"Player activity like this is pivotal to the success of the campaign and it shows that the club are getting into the spirit of One Game, One Community."
