Danny Coles will be out of action for "six to eight weeks" following scan results on the leg injury he sustained at the weekend.

The defender was told yesterday that he had suffered cartilage damage, and will see a surgeon later today to obtain a more detailed diagnosis.

Once more specifics are known, Danny will then undergo surgery to correct the problem.

Surgery is likely to be scheduled for as soon as possible, and it's likely to be the middle of December before there's any chance of seeing Danny in competitive action again.
