Paul Trollope was pleased to see his side pick up another three points this afternoon.

Rovers beat Leyton Orient 2-1 at the Memorial Stadium, thanks to goals from Danny Coles and Craig Hinton.

"It's a happy dressing room," Paul told bristolrovers.co.uk, "We were ok in the first half, there were bits of good play, but there were bits we needed to tidy up on as well.

"We needed to move the ball better, but we felt at half-time we were in a position we could win the game from and that proved to be the case.

"It was disappointing to let in the early goal, and the ten minutes after we were a bit weak, mentally and physically. But credit to the players because they built up a head of steam and turned it around.

"We scored two goals in that section of the game, and we showed some resilient defending at the end to deal with a lot of corners and free-kicks into the box.

"It was a crucial win for us, in the promotion year this place was a fortress for us, and last year we had too many draws. We need to improve on that, this is our second win, and hopefully there will be many more to follow."

Paul was sent from the dugout in the closing stages of the game, a moment he says he regrets.

"I was in the wrong and I got sent off - I said last time it happened that it wouldn't happen again but it has," he said, "I've just been into see the referee and to apologise.

"I was outside my technical area which you're not supposed to do, and sometimes situations in football just overtake you."
