SIZE DOESN'T MATTER
Those of you who regularly purchase a matchday programme may notice a slight change in tomorrow's edition, in that it is marginally smaller in size.
As you might be aware, the club's printers, TL Visuals, recently entered administration and the programme for the Walsall game was printed by Plymouth-based company, Pepper.
The programme for tomorrow's match against Crewe Alexandra has been printed by a company based in Chessington, MPG Impressions, and was delivered to the Memorial Stadium this afternoon.
The programme size has been reduced to 168mm in width and 240mm in depth, whereas the previous measurements were 170mm x 245mm.
"I don't think the slight reduction in size will be noticeable to everyone," said programme editor Keith Brookman, "But I felt it advisable to let our supporters know in advance.
"The programme still consists of 64 pages and has the usual cover price of £3 and MPG Impressions have produced an excellent publication, there being no loss of quality, in spite of the fact that the turnaround time was shorter than usual.
"It wasn't until late on Monday that the company were asked to print this week's programme and it is a credit to them that they have maintained the high standard that we all expect."
