TROLLS WANTS BETTER ON DERBY DAY
Paul Trollope says he will be making changes to his starting 11 this evening, as Cheltenham Town lie in wait.
Rovers make the short trip up the M5 to take on the Robins in a match between two of League One's early strugglers.
The Pirates have lost three consecutive matches as they go into the tie, with only one win from eight league and cup games all season.
"It's always hard when your team loses," Paul told bristolrovers.co.uk, "It's not a nice feeling, and it's one you want to put right as quickly as possible.
"We've found the going a bit tough in the last couple of weeks, and although wqe've been generally pleased with our scoring and forward play, we need to get the defensive side right.
"We've got two local derby games this week, two matches to look forward to, and two games we believe we can get a good points return from.
"We always want to win the next game we play, and it's good to have a match so quickly after Saturday for a chance to bounce back.
"I haven't lost any confidence in the group here, individually or collectively, and we go to Cheltenham looking for a decent result."
With Byron Anthony suspended, Paul's hand will be forced into at least one change.
"There will be at least one change with Byron out, and we'll be looking at a couple of others to be honest," he said.
"We've let ourselves down in defensive situations, there's no doubt about it, and it's got to stop.
"A couple are coming back from injuries, and we'll assess them as the match gets closer.
"Danny Coles comes into our thoughts, he's progressed well with his injury and we're pleased with how that's going. He's been running for a while, and although he hasn't played in a long time, he comes into contention."
