FOCUS IS ON WINNING FOR WILLIAMS
Andy Williams says his focus is all about helping Rovers win three points this weekend.
The striker is hoping for a chance to figure against his former club, and admits nothing less than a win will make him happy.
Andy moved to Rovers from Hereford United last summer, and is likely to be included in the matchday 16 for the visit of the Bulls.
"My dad is involved in the youth team, and some of the backroom staff are the same, but most of the players left around the same sort of time that I did," Andy told bristolrovers.co.uk.
"It will be good to see a few faces, but I'm a Bristol Rovers player now and I'm looking forward to Saturday and kicking the season off with three points.
"Hereford did well last season, it's not easy at all to get out of League Two, and they deserved their promotion over the course of the year.
"They've found it hard to adjust in the first couple of match, and they will be disappointed with the start they've made. But we're disappointed too, and we want to get things going with three points on Saturday."
Andy has been named as a substitute in all three matches so far, and he'd love nothing more than to come off the bench to make a winning impact.
"I'd like to be involved, and if I am then I'll be ready and hopefully in the right place to score a goal or two," he said, "There's a lot of competition for places up front at the moment, and every striker here knows that you have to make the most of every chance.
"As a team I think we've shown signs of progression so far this season, but we need to take the next step forward and win the game this weekend."
