TROLLS ON A GOOD WEEK AHEAD
Paul Trollope is looking forward to a full week of training and a good home game at the weekend.
The first team coach was encouraged by his side's display in the 1-1 draw at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, and wants to see continued progress against Hereford United in four days' time.
Rovers have lost two and drawn one of their opening three league and cup matches, and Paul knows a win is overdue.
"Without a couple of bad bits of defending we'd have beaten Carlisle, we took Watford all the way and against Brighton a point was the least we deserved," Paul told bristolrovers.co.uk.
"That was a classic game of two halves, and even Micky Adams was full of praise for the way our players responded in the second half and dominated the match.
"We should have scored in open play though, and it's good to have a full week of training to make sure that this coming Saturday we do get all three points.
"It's a good home game for us, Hereford did well last season and we have a lot of respect for them. They'll be looking for their first win, just like us, so there's a lot at stake.
"But Hereford at home is a game we should be looking to win, and we're confident that if we can put a few bits and pieces together then we can win the game."
