Bristol Rovers have changed the way they calculate their match day attendance.

From this season, the official attendance will include all season tickets sold, not just those holders who attend the game.

This practice is already carried out by a large number of clubs in the Football League.

Due to an error in calculating the Carlisle United attendees at our opening home game of the season, the attendance was wrongly given as 8,285 - the correct figure was actually 7,965.
