Defender Joe Jacobson had a scan on his injured knee yesterday, and the news isn't good for the Welsh Under 21 skipper.

He has damaged the medial ligament in his left knee and is likely to be out of actiomn for between eight to ten weeks.

Rovers take on Rotherham United at the Don Valley Stadium this evening, kick-off 7.00pm.

Striker Andy Wiilams hasn't travelled with the squad as he has a bruised foot, sustained in training, while triallist Liam Harwood is included in the squad of 19 players who have travelled to Sheffield.
