Rovers are delighted to announce that they will play a friendly against Dutch side FC Den Haag as part of their pre-season.

The newly promoted side will be Rovers' first opponents at Whaddon Road on Saturday 2nd August at 3pm.

FC Den Haag, from The Hague, were promoted to the Eredivisie - the Dutch Premier League - at the end of this season, after winning the play-offs.

Ticket prices for the game will be announced nearer the time.

Rovers have also arranged three other friendlies away from home against teams from the Blue Square Premier.

The Pirates will kick-off their pre season at Weymouth's Wessex Stadium on Wednesday 16th July at 7:30pm, followed by a trip to Plainmoor to take on Torquay United on Saturday 19th July at 3pm, and a match at Salisbury's Raymond McEnhill Stadium on Tuesday 5th August at 7:45pm.

The club are also taking part in a tour of Sweden and Denmark and will be saying a final farewell to the Memorial Stadium with a game towards the end of July.
