2008/09 season ticket sales are up slightly on 2007/08 figures, after almost three full days of trading.

Season tickets went on sale online on Sunday evening and then to personal callers on Tuesday morning.

Reduced prices and subsidised coach travel appears to have won over Gasheads, who will have to make the trip to Cheltenham Town's Whaddon Road to watch home matches for the next two years.

Last season the club sold around 3,000 season tickets for what was expected to be a half-season in Bristol and a half-season in Cheltenham.

Already, eager fans have helped see the club hit the ten per cent mark of that total, with an average of 100 season tickets being sold each day.

Supporters are being given until the first week in July to secure their 2008/09 season tickets at a reduced rate - from 7th July onwards prices go up sharply in all areas of the stadium.

Coach season tickets won't be going up in price in July, although already the club's cheap travelling initiative is proving to be a success with fans.

At just £46 for 23 League One fixtures, it works out at just £2 for a return journey up and down the M5.

Coach season tickets are only available to actual season ticket holders, with the deficit in cost of each coach being laid on for fans during 2008/09 being met by the club.
