Andy Williams says Rovers must forget about their FA Cup run for 2007/08 and focus on making a late challenge on the League One play-offs.

The striker believes the Pirates can still make the end-of-season shake-up, but says the team need to put together an instant run of good results.

Northampton Town visit the Memorial Stadium on Wednesday evening before Cheltenham Town await at Whaddon Road three days later.

"We've got the game on Wednesday to focus on straight away," Andy told bristolrovers.co.uk, "It's a short period of time after the West Brom match and we need to get that game out of our heads and try to bounce back straight away.

"We need to turn over Northampton to get our season back on track in the league, and that's what we're confident we can do.

"We've shown we can put a run together and we believe the league position at the moment is a false one. It's up to us now to take the opportunity we've got in the league with all the games in hand, and we believe we've got a squad of players capable of stringing together a few victories.

"Playing in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup is something that some of us might not be able to experience again, and we were all desperate to get to Wembley.

"Maybe some of the younger lads will play in another quarter-final one day, but for all of us now the aim has to be to get to Wembley in the league. We've got a chance this season and there's a lot to play for, and we need to use the disappointment of Sunday to spur us on in League One."
