WHY NOT STUDY AND PLAY FUTSAL WITH ROVERS?

14 October 2015

The time of year has once again come around where Bristol Rovers Community Trust are recruiting for our limited BTEC Futsal and Education course for year 2016/2018 cohort.

Bristol Rovers Community Trust provide a BTEC Level 3 in Sport that has seen a 100% pass rate since its conception five years ago. Our small class sizes of 10 to 15 students enables us to give each student the individual attention that they need and aids us to harbor a successful learning environment for each and every student.

Feedback from former students and parents has highlighted the high levels of engagement, attainment and progress they make in their time with us. Parents see the benefit of such small classes and the hands on practical experience that we are able to offer our students within Bristol Rovers F.C.

We have seen a large number of our students move onto further education to study subjects such as physiotherapy, journalism, community development, coaching and business management with past students completing degrees in America as well as the UK.

Not only have students gone on to study the subjects they desired, but some have progressed into full-time employment as coaches with some now working for our very own community department.

Along with helping students move onto degrees at universities in the UK and abroad, we have very strong links and direct pathways to foundations degrees to help students find the right course for them after BTEC.

Another positive of our program is that during the two year Level 3 BTEC course, we offer every student the option to undertake fully funded FA coaching qualifications.

Combined with this fantastic educational opportunity, the students will have the opportunity to play Futsal every day and represent Bristol Rovers FC in a Futsal national league.

The students train everyday receiving some of the best coaching around from former professional players and compete in national tournaments and leagues against the likes of Chelsea, Reading, Swindon and Cardiff to name just a few.

This fantastic opportunity is available for all young people between the ages of 16 and 18.

For the first time we are now offering this opportunity to ladies between 16 and 18, this is a wonderful chance for young ladies who have a keen interest in sport and hope to forge a successful career in the sport industry.

We encourage all to apply to the course as soon as possible to help your application and reserve a place.
