Bristol Rovers

Bristol Rovers will take on Cardiff City in the First Round of this seasons EFL Cup.

The First Round tie will take place at the Memorial Stadium on the week commencing 8th August.

Round One of the re-named cup competition includes 70 of the 72 EFL clubs this season, with the draw being seeded as well as regionalised on a north/south basis. Seedings were based on club finishing positions in the league last season. 

The draw took place Live on the EFL Cup's Facebook page hosted by Tom White and former Manchester United, Queens Park Rangers and England player Ray Wilkins.
