List of players released by the club
Following discussions between the Management and Board of Directors, Bristol Rovers have announced their retained list for the coming season.
The following players have been released – Fabian Broghammer, David Clarkson, Seanan Clucas, Steven Gillespie, Jordan Goddard, Conor Gough, Mitch Harding, Pat Keary, Jim Paterson, Eliot Richards, Josh Southway, Danny Woodards.
Michael Smith has been offered a contract extension, while Lee Brown and Alefe Santos have been offered new deals which are currently under discussion.
Alan Gow has been offered the chance to earn a new contract by proving his fitness during the summer.
Ellis Harrison has been placed on the transfer list by the club.
Chris Beardsley and Kaid Mohamed will return to their parent clubs following the end of their loan spells.
Anyone not mentioned is still under contract and will be staying with the club.

We received a letter from Exeter a week ago exercising their option to take Eliot Richards at the end of the season, therefore we were under the impression that the player was aware he had been released.
Darrell has now spoken to Eliot, and we would like to apologise for any misunderstanding that has occurred.
