We are delighted to announce a prestigious home pre-season friendly against Premier League side Swansea City.

Francesco Guidolin will bring his side to The Memorial Stadium on Saturday 23rd July for a game that will kick off at 3.00pm.

The Swans finished last season in 12th place with 47 points from their 38 games and will provide a stern pre-season test for Darrell Clarke’s side.

The sides haven’t met since March 2008 when they were both League One sides. The Swans won

2-0 at The Mem on 18th March and the return fixture, six days later, ended in a 2-2 draw.

Our pre-season schedule is almost complete, but we anticipate announcing at least one more high profile game in the next week or so.
