The club has been given notice that John-Joe O’Toole has activated the release cause in his contract.

The midfielder will now be seeking employment with another club.

The Irishman was Bristol Rovers’ top goal-scorer last season, after joining the club on a permanent basis last summer.

Everyone at the club would like to wish John-Joe well in the future.
