Don’t forget that today we are hosting our Annual Open Day, giving you all the chance to come along and meet the Bristol Rovers First Team Squad and Management Team.
As always, Darrell Clarke and his players will be happy to stop for a chat, sign autographs and be available for any photo requests.
Adult sizes of our new shirts, revealed yesterday, will be on sale at the Memorial Stadium between 11.00am and 4.00pm.
We have to apologise that we will not have any junior sizes available for purchase on Sunday, which is certain to be a huge disappointment to our younger fans. The shirts, though, can be pre-ordered and we have been told they will arrive in our shop on 4th August.
A technical problem with our manufacturers, Errea, has led to this situation but, as a goodwill gesture the company are sending over 150 junior sized T-Shirts, 50 of each of small, medium and large, so that our young fans can try one on for size.
If, after trying on the T-Shirt they then pre-order a home or away shirt, they will be able to keep the T-Shirt and their replica shirt will be despatched free of charge.
There’s lots more to look forward to, as Pirate Leisure will be open from 11.00am and the events get underway at midday. There will be a funfair in the main car park, dressing room tours, and, between 2.00pm – 3.00pm only, Southmead Fire Brigade will be on hand with one of their firefighting trucks.
In addition The Army will have a presence in the main car park, there will be a BBQ on the Dribuild terrace and the Supporters Club, Young Pirates and Helpline will be on hand to tell you about their respective organisations and hoping to recruit new members!
Darrell and the players will be available to meet you between midday and 3.00pm and the event finishes at 4.00pm.
