A great time had by all
Bristol Rovers opened their doors to fans and families for their annual ‘Open Day’, which saw the club welcome around 2,000 people to the Memorial Stadium despite appalling weather. The day gave the Pirates faithful their first chance to purchase the new 2015/2016 kit, and the shop staff were kept busy all day as people queued to get their hands on the new strips.
Stadium Manager Ian Holtby said, “The numbers that came yesterday was absolutely fantastic, especially given the shocking conditions.
“The club would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended and Darrell and his squad for being here for the entire event, they are a real credit to this Football Club.”
