NATHAN BLISSETT LEAVES ON LOAN

26 November 2015

Striker joins Lincoln City until 4th January

Bristol Rovers’ striker Nathan Blissett today joined National league side Lincoln City in a one month loan deal, with a view to moving on a permanent basis when the loan expires on 4th January 2016.

Blissett, who arrived at The Mem from Kidderminster Harriers just over a year ago, scored on his Rovers debut, in a 2-2 draw at Chester.

It’s the tall striker’s second loan spell of the season as he scored once in five games for Tranmere Rovers during August and September.

Nathan has come off the bench on three occasions for Rovers this season, against Wycombe in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and in the league games against Notts County and Carlisle United.

His appearance against County marked his Football league debut and he now joins a club with aspirations of being back in the league next season as Lincoln lie in fifth place in the National League following last night’s 1-1 draw with Boreham Wood.

Everyone at the club would like to wish Nathan success during his time with Lincoln.
