MATCH PREVIEW: YORK CITY

30 April 2016

We take a look at today's opponents!

Bristol Rovers go into today's game looking to continue their run for automatic promotion.

Rovers: Darrell Clarke's men will be looking to secure a valuable three points against already relegated York City.

Team News: Stuart Sinclair looks likely to miss out with injury.

Darrell's View:”The only thing we can focus on is winning our game. We cannot control what the other teams do, we need to get all three points out of our game."

Opposition: Today's opponents York City currently sit in 23rd place in the SkyBet League Two table and were relegated into the Conference last weekend. York have gathered 33 points from their 44 points this season and have only picked up five points from their last 15 on offer with an impressive 3-1 win against Portsmouth.

Dangerman - Bradley Fewster: The on loan striker has been in good form for City since joining towards the end of November. Fewster is joint top of the goal scoring charts with 8 goals in his 22 outings with his most recent coming against Portsmouth two weeks ago.

Last Time Out: Rovers left it late to secure all three points against York City back in December as Matty Taylor's 14th goal of the season secured all three points for Rovers after Jermaine Easter leveled Vadaine Oliver's first half opener.

Tickets: Today's game is completely sold out.
