Seventh pre-season game arranged
Bristol Rovers have agreed to play a pre-season friendly against Mangotsfield United, at Cossham Street, on Wednesday 15th July, kick off 7.45pm.Making the short trip to Cossham Street is almost an annual pre-season event and it’s always a pleasure to meet up with players and officials of this very friendly club.
There always seems to be a strong Rovers connection amongst the playing staff and that looks as though it will be the case again this season, with Tom Parrinello, Matt Groves and Neil Arndale already believed to have signed with Mangotsfield for next season.
The fixture brings the number of pre-season games arranged to seven, with matches against Salisbury, Cirencester, Arsenal U-21/Development Squad, Reading, West Bromwich Albion and Cheltenham Town having already been announced.
