Harrison plays in Wales U-21's win

Bristol Rovers forward Ellis Harrison was in International action last night as Wales Under-21 got their qualifying campaign off to a flying start.

Two goals from Tom O’Sullivan and another from Josh Yorwerth secured all three points for Geraint William’s team with Bulgaria finding the back of the net through Nikola Kolev.

Harrison started the game for their UEFA Under 21 Championship Qualifying fixture with Bulgaria at Cardiff City Stadium and with 10 minutes of the first half remaining, Ellis almost turned provider and nearly presented O’Sullivan with his third goal but the ball was pushed wide by Lyubenov for a corner.

Moments before half time Ellis stung the hands of Aleksander Lyubenov are forced a fantastic save from the Bulgarian International keeper as Wales went in 3-0 to the good.

The visitors pulled a goal back in the second period through Nikola Kolev before Harrison was substituted in the 82nd minute and was replaced by Liverpool's Harry Wilson.

Ellis is now back with the Bristol Rovers squad and will be available for selection for Friday's important fixture with Chester.
