Bristol Rovers Community Trust will be hosting an open evening for their Foundation Degree.The event will take place in the Study Centre at the Memorial Stadium on Monday 2nd February from 7-8pm.
This course is a full-time two year foundation degree (fd) delivered in Bristol and verified by the University of South Wales combining studying and practical work-based learning.
USW have designed the course, in conjunction with the Football League Trust, to prepare students for work in the area of football in the community; teaching, PE and sports development.
Modules delivered include sports science, psychology and multi-sports and skills. Items covered include coaching skills and also the wider picture regarding tournament organisation, soccer schools operations, monitoring and evaluation, football in schools and legal requirements when working with young people.
