The club has once more come to the notice of the Football Association and we have been asked to explain why a smoke grenade was discharged in Saturday's game with Alfreton Town on the North Terrace.
Fans are reminded that it is a criminal offence to bring items such as this into a football stadium and anyone found in possession of these or similar items will face a lengthy ban.
Bristol Rovers Safety Officer Dave Harper said "It might be considered great fun to discharge flares but, apart from being an offence, it is an highly dangerous practice particularly on a very crowded terrace."
