DARRELL - ONE MISTAKE COST US

18 April 2015

The Manager's post-match thoughts

Bristol Rovers missed the opportunity to go top of the Vanarama Conference table and have their own fate in their hands going into next week's final fixture and Manager Darrell Clarke told the media that he is very disappointed with the way it happened.

"It is very frustrating because all game we dealt with everything in our own box but that one mistake at the end has cost us three valuable points.

"It was always going to be a tough game against a very physical Dover side and I knew we had to be good in both boxes.

"We got our goal from a well worked set piece but unfortunately we couldn't hold on so we need to re-focus ourselves and get ready for this last one.

"Words can't even begin to explain how disappointed and frustrated the changing room is at the minute but we will be ready to go again on the training pitch on Monday because that is what this squad is like.

"It's all still to play for, there is one point in it with one game left and Barnet are going to be under pressure to win the game just like we will.

"Although nothing has changed at the top of the table it is difficult to come out here and say there is a positive but we need to get ourselves ready for this final game in front of a packed Memorial Stadium with 11,000 supporters behind us.
