Bristol Rovers make the trip north to the Swansway Chester Stadium to take on the Blues in Vanarama Conference action.

Opposition: Chester currently occupy 14th position in the Vanarama Conference table having gathered 26 points from their 20 games played. The blues however have a goal difference of -11 which is joint 5th worst in the league. Chester won on their last outing beating high-flying Gateshead 1-0 at the Swansway Chester Stadium and the Blues also recently knocked League Two Southend United out of the FA Cup.

Dangerman – Ben Heneghan: The former Everton trainee transferred to Stoke City two years ago before being snapped up by Chester in August this year. The dynamic midfielder has scored three times this season most recently in the 3-1 loss to Macclesfield. Heneghan also scored one of the goals that knocked Southend out of the FA Cup.

Team News: Andy Monkhouse is now available after serving his suspension however the game will come too soon for the injured Neal Trotman. New signing Bradley Goldberg will be in contention after completing his loan move Thursday.

Last Meeting: The last time these two sides met was back in January 2007 where the teams played out a goalless draw at the Memorial Stadium.
