ONE GAME, ONE COMMUNITY

23 April 2014

Day of action next weekend.

Bristol Rovers have teamed up with the St Paul's Carnival to celebrate Kick It Out's annual One Game, One Community initiative at our last game of the season.

The event has seen football clubs everywhere embrace the inclusive and multi-cultural nature of the English game by holding events involving supporters and players alike.

The Mansfield match on May 3rd will provide a platform for fans, players and staff to show their commitment to equality and inclusion in football by wearing One Game, One Community t-shirts, donning campaign badges and stickers, and leading community-based activities.

There will be live music and an African Caribbean market in the car park from 12pm.

At half time there will be an exclusive performance of this year's carnival anthem - a charity record featuring some of Bristol's finest musicians.

The relationship between Bristol Rovers and the St Paul's Carnival goes back to at least the early 1980s when the masquerade procession began at our former home in Eastville went through Easton and finally on to St Paul's.
