WHAT'S ON: BRISTOL ROVERS v PETERBOROUGH UNITED

28 October 2016

On Saturday, Rovers welcome Peterborough United to The Memorial Stadium. Last time the sides met in 2011, Jeff Hughes' second half-goal denied 10-man Peterborough as Rovers earned a 2-2 draw at the Memorial Stadium in front of 6,589.

The midfielder stooped to head home Harry Pell's cross just four minutes after George Boyd had fired the visitors in front from a Craig Mackail-Smith pass.

Rovers took a sixth-minute lead through a shot on the turn through Jo Kuffour. But Byron Anthony headed a Boyd cross past his own goalkeeper in the 23 minute before Posh defender Mark Little was sent off in first-half injury time for a second bookable offence.

‘Early Bird’ Tickets are available for both sets of supporters. All Terrace, South and South West Stand Seats are still available for the game so get your ticket today. We are expecting a crowd in excess of 10,000, therefore please arrive in good time to avoid queues. Both the West Stand and East Stand seated areas are sold out for this fixture.
