WHAT'S ON: BRISTOL ROVERS v MILLWALL F.C

29 April 2017

Take a look at your match day schedule for the visit of Millwall F.C this Sunday.

Rovers welcome Millwall to The Memorial Stadium on Sunday, the teams last met at The Mem on 5th September 2009 with a crowd of 6,038.

Chris Lines' second-half rocket sealed a deserved 2-0 home win for Bristol Rovers against Millwall.

The young midfielder let fly from just outside the box in the 61st minute and saw his right-footed effort fly into the top corner.

Jeff Hughes had fired Rovers in front from the penalty spot in the 16th minute after he had been tripped in the penalty area by Andy Frampton. Injury-hit Millwall battled hard. Their best effort was an Ashley Grimes shot in the 53rd minute, which was tipped around the post by Rovers' debutant goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen.

Darryl Duffy, Aaron Lescott and Hughes all had chances to extend Rovers' advantage, but failed to beat goalkeeper David Forde.

Alan Dunne had a header blocked for Millwall, who contributed much to a high-tempo game.

We are expecting a sell-out crowd in excess of 11,700, therefore please arrive in good time to avoid queues.
