Changes being made at The Memorial Stadium today will, hopefully, lead to an increased capacity at The Memorial Stadium.
The control tower, situated in the corner of the ground in between The North Terrace and The Family Enclosure, has been lowered which will improve camera visibility around the stadium.
The tower, which rested on top of a toilet block, is now at ground level and the toilet block is located behind the North Terrace.
As mentioned previously, the Brunel Professional Risks South Stand will be redeveloped shortly which will mean new seats, roofing and flooring, but before any announcement regarding increased capacity can be announced, the matter has to be considered, and approved, by the Safety Advisory Group at their meeting on 11th July.
