MATCH PREVIEW: OLDHAM ATHLETIC vs BRISTOL ROVERS

22 October 2016

We take a quick look at today's opponents!

Bristol Rovers go into today's game looking to pick up the three points after Tuesday's late draw with MK Dons.

Rovers: Darrell Clarke's men will be looking to secure a win as they look to climb the Sky Bet League One table.

Team News: Rovers have a full squad to pick from as forward Jermaine Easter returns from his suspension.

Darrell's View:”Oldham picked up a fantastic result on Tuesday night [beating Scunthorpe United 2-0] and it just goes to show that anyone can beat anyone in this league.

"It's always going to be a tough week when you have three games, but we've got the squad that can deal with that and hopefully we leave with all three points."

Opposition: Today's opponents Oldham Athletic sit just inside the relegation places in the SkyBet League One table having collected 15 points from their 14 games so far this season. Stephen Robinson's men have had a mixed bag of results in their last three outings beating Gillingham and table topping Scunthorpe United but losing to Bolton Wanderers in between however the Lactics will want to build on Tuesday night's three points and turn around their home form.

Dangerman - Lee Erwin: The Lactics man hasn't been exactly prolific this season, only scoring two goals but the ex-Motherwell striker netted in his last game against top of the league Scunthorpe United on Tuesday night.

Last Time Out: Rene Howe's 73rd minute strike was enough the wrap up the three points for Rovers at the Memorial Stadium back in February 2011.
