"Having received full details from Gillingham in regards to our enquiries; it seems that this was a genuine error on the turnstiles. From what we can gather only a few away supporters actually entered the stadium on a reduced ticket price and this error was rectified as soon as senior members of staff became aware of the problem.
As only a handful of supporters benefitted from the reduced ticket price we believe it would be disproportionate to request a refund for all other visiting supporters who paid the correct ticket price."
