7 July 2016

Rovers manager Darrell Clarke today signed his new contract which will see him remain in charge at The Memorial Stadium for the next three years.

Speaking after he had put pen to paper, Darrell said; “It has taken a while to sign my contract, but once there was a verbal agreement in place there was never any doubt that I would commit my future to this football club.

“I am delighted that the formalities have now been completed and look forward to continuing to build on the success we have achieved here in the last two years.

“We all preparing for life in League One and looking forward to the challenge and yesterday’s announcement that we had sold in excess of 5,100 season tickets demonstrates that our supporters appreciate what we are trying to achieve here.

“I would like to thank everyone for the messages of congratulations and support I have received since the end of the season and can’t wait for the start of the new campaign.”
